2. Repairing damage such as dents or bends by applying heat and straightening

3. Stripping the rust and paint off the parts in an acid bath.

4. Filling any rust holes or craters with copper

5. Polishing the part to a mirror finish

6. Part is suspended in various baths of copper, nickel, and then chrome to finish it off.
